After 2 years without a solo album, shogonodo returns to deliver an instrumental project with jazzy sounds and lofi textures. The project is entitled 'nova' and is composed of 9 tracks including 3 collaborations with artists 97SPECIAL, Stuffed Tomato and Northern Loon.

In this project, more than in the previous ones, soft melodies on rhodes and woodwind instruments punctuate the tracks.

The artwork for the album was done by Zom Kashwak, representing shogo' and his dog nova.
